Simply attach RFID tags to all your employees' driving licences / DQCs. On the due date, the employee holds the tag up to the TachoStation or their smartphone (DAKO drive app required, only for driving licences). The devices recognise the tag via RFID reader or app and confirm the presence of the driving licence or driver qualification card. The check is digitally documented and archived in DAKO Fleet. No further inspection or scanning is necessary - saving you time and effort.
It is not possible to remove the RFID tag from the driving licence / DQC without destroying the tag, because the internal chip is rendered useless with this form of tampering. All data is encoded for transmission and saved securely on our in-house data centre in accordance with the legally prescribed retention periods.
According to the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV), an RFID sticker may be affixed. Relevant information on the driving licence must not be obscured and it must be easy to remove without leaving any residue.
The small dimensions and special adhesive make it easy to attach and remove.
You can set up automatic deadline reminders in DAKO Fleet’s deadline management system. You and, if you wish, your drivers will receive a notification when the due date arrives, so you have one less thing to worry about.
